Sandpiper Studio is a small scale production and design studio specializing in hand blown functional glass. Located in Windermere, British Columbia, Sandpiper Studio was founded in 2009 by partners Julie Gibb and Gordon Webster after they met one another working as artists in residence at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre.

Julie Gibb was born in Toronto, Ontario and is a graduate of the Crafts and Design program at Sheridan College. She is the recipient of many awards and honors for her work including a residency at the Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY. Her work has been included in several publications including 500 Glass Objects by Lark Books and 25 Years of New Glass Review by The Corning Museum of Glass. Over the past 10 years Julie has primarily focused on combining screen printed imagery with her modern and functional blown glass forms.
